U.S. Pious Missile To Travel 5000 Miles
NEW YORK. Sun.—American scientists are working on a missile faster than sound, capable of travelling 5000 miles, according to the final report of General Carl Spaatz, who has retired as Chief of the United States Air Staff. He says that since there is no known defence against this weapon, it is important that the United States should be the first to develop it. General Spaatz says that the United States Air Force hopes to replace all its aircraft with high-speed jet planes within a few years.
