Man Drowned In Fall From Yacht
AUCKLAND, Mon. (Sp.)—A man was drowned when he fell from the yacht La Paloma in a rough sea off St Mary’s Bay yesterday afternoon. He was: Mr Bernard Ross McCoy, aged 25, of Mount Flats, Mount Street, City. With live persons on board, the yacht had sailed from Matiatia. It v/as coming about in a heavy sea, preparatory to picking up moorings in St Mary’s Bay, when the accident occurred. Mistook Medicine AUCKLAND, Mon. (Sp.)— A young man died in the Auckland Hospital yesterday, as the result of drinking liniment by mistake for cough mixture. He was Mr Hugh Dickens Anderson, a carrier, aged 22, of 3 Cox Street, Herne Bay.
