Remanded On intoxication Charge
A young man whoso name was suppressed appeared before Mr W. H. Robinson, J.P., in the Whangarei police court this morning on a charge of being intoxicated while in charge of a motor vehicle in Whangarei on Saturday. On the application of Senior Sergeant J. Sutherland, representing the police, a remand until next Monday was granted. Bail was allowed at £25 on accused’s own recognisance.
