O'Callaghan Scores Over 100 Points
WELLINGTON. Mon. fP.A.)—T. R. O’Callaghan, vice-captain of the Wellington representative Rugby team against Hawke’s Bay, passed on Saturday his century in points scored this season.
The Marist player has played in 13 championship matches to score 62 points and in the four representative matches, in which he has scored 45 points. He has scored six tries and kicked 28 conversions and 11 penalties.
For the first of the home-and-homc representative matches against Auckland, at Auckland next Saturday, the sole selector (Mr R. J. Morgan) has decided to retain the same Wellington side which defeated Hawke’s Bay, with the exception that V. Bevan is now available and returns to the halfback position.
