Form Candidates For Tomorrow's Meetings

Turf fixtures for tomorrow comprise the second day of the Canterbury Jockey Club’s Grand National meeting, at Riccarton, the Hawke’s Bay-Danne-virke Hunt fixture at Hastings, and the Thames Trotting Club’s spring meeting, to be held at Parawai racecourse.
Chief interest will be taken in the running of the Grand National Hurdles, principal event at Riccarton, for which a high-class field of 21 runners will contest the 2£-mile journey. Betting on this event will cover a wide range, but there may be most support for: Corineus, Boolamskeei Lisheen and Skywriter.
The Islington Handicap, l\ miles, is the main flat event on the day’s card, and a trio likely to be supported is: Royal Tan, Ballinagh and Aganev. Candidates for minor honours at the meeting which are expected to race prominently include: Summer Handicap: Young John and Super. Woolston Handicap: Money Lender and Baccarat.
