Six Die From Influenza
AUCKLAND, Thu. (P.A.).—Auckland’s outbreak of influenza has been responsible for six deaths since the first cases were reported six weeks ago.
Eighty patients have been treated in the Auckland Hospital. Cases at present in hospital total
Bronchial trouble has been added to normal influenza symptoms in a number of cases. “The occurrence of these cases is regarded as unusual,” said Dr L. S Davies, medical officer of health at Auckland, this morning.
