Listen, Girl Marchers
In view of the distinct possibility that the North Island marching championships may be held in Whangarei in February, Northland enthusiasts will be interested in an address to be broadcast on Friday evening, August 13, at 7.9 o’clock from 2YA by Mr E. C. Kelly, Dominion president of the New Zealand Marching' and Recreation Society.
Mr Kelly’s address, to be given on the eve of the Society’s annual conference, will be of special interest to girl marchers, judges, coaches and offficials. Marching has taken on in Auckland during the past few months and there are now 10 teams in the city.
