Nine Nortfilcmders For Dunedin

Nine Northlanders are included in the Auckland country ladies' hockey team to compete in the New Zealand championship tournament at Dunedin, commencing on August 28. Six are from Whangarei. two from Northern Wairoa. and one from Rodney. The team is: J. Price (N.W.L C .Amohia, P. Wilson <W), D. Jones, M. Goulding (N.W.). S. McGregor (W). M. Day. M. Frood (W). N. Hannam (W>. B. Gawler, P. Rasmussen <W>, C. McGregor (W>. Reserves. —R. Dunning (R), V. Fisher, I. Grant. Jmnoh Recovers KARACHI, Tuc. (11 a.m.)— The Governor General (Mr Jinnah) has recovered from a touch of bronchitis. His doctor. Colonel A. Rahman, said it was untrue that he was suffering from cancer of the tongue.
