Large Bequest To Jewish Children
LONDON, Fri, (10 a.m.).—Eric Turk, of Radlett, Hertfordshire, former director of Consolidated Goldfields of New Zealand, who died on April 16. left an estate valued at £616.237.
After detailing numerous bequests. Mr. Turk left the balance of the residue, totalling several thousands of pounds sterling, for education or professional or business advancement of Jewish children, preferably from Germany, Austria or Czechoslovakia, who were victims oi: Hitler’s persecution, or of conditions resulting from such persecution.
