Stonex For World Cycling Champs
AUCKLAND. Fri. (P.A.)—Widely regarded as unlucky to miss selectioi', in the New Zealand Olympic Game.\ team, A. W. Stonex, Auckland and New Zealand sprint cycling champion, has been chosen to represent tho Dominion at the world cycling championships in Holland next August. Stonex will be the official representative of the New Zealand Amateur Cycling Association.
A spin of £7OO has been guaranteed in Auckland to cover his expenses, but an appeal is to be launched to raise money without calling on the guarantors.
