AUCKLAND. The tropical cyclone which on Monday night was approaching the North Island from the northeast yesterday followed a path approximating that forecast by meteorologists. At noon it was about 200 miles north-east of Auckland, and last evening, weakening in intensity, it was in the East Cape area. Rain fell in Auckland during the morning, but the afternoon was sunny with a maximum temperature of 76 degrees and high relative humidity. (Sp.) . ,
