AUCKI*\N». Food parcels valued at £IOOO have been posted by the Auckland ElectricPower Board to 16 firms in ’Britain which have had business with the board. This was announced by the secretary (Mr N. M. Speer) at a meeting of the board.
Mr Speer said the firms would distribute the parcels, of which nearly 2800 had been despatched, to their employees. The main commodities sent were fats, soap and dried milk. » * *
