No Extra Petrol For Easter Traffic
. WELLINGTON, Tue. (P.A.)—The Taxi Proprietors’ Federation today announced that their representations to the oil fuel controller for more petrol to cover meeting Easter special trains and steamers had been refused. As Easter comes near the end of the rationing period, taxi-drivers m Wellington state that there may be insufficient petrol to cover the holiday rush. Hospital transport and other essential jobs will be provided for.
