KAITAIA PARK EXTENSION No evidence to support the application for consent to sale of a property of 19 acres to the Kaitaia Borough Council for £2062 was presented to the North Auckland Land Sales Committee when the proposed transaction .was considered at a Kaitaia sitting on Monday. The council has been negotiating for the property as an extension to Matthews’ Park on Awanui Road. For the vendor, Mr L. Peace asked the committee to set the price and a conditional order was made accordingly consenting-to the sale within 2t days at the Crown valuation figure of £660 filed by Mr E. N. Young.
COMMUNITY ARTS SERVICE A Grand Concert will be held in the Town Hall on Monday, March 22, at 8 p.m. This will feature visiting Auckland artists, assisted by the Whangarei Choral Society. V 79
