Decision Reserved In Manure Dispute
AUCKLAND, Tue. (Sp.).—The dispute between the Auckland Chemical Manure Workers’ Union and the three manufacturing companies in Auckland was investigated yesterday by a tribunal appointed by the Minister of Labour (Mr McLagan) under the, Strike and Lock-out Emergency Regulations.
The tribunal was appointed following a go-slow policy by 500 chemical workers at the three Auckland fertiliser works.
When the tribunal sat yesterday, it was explained that wages and the terms of the proposed agreement were the main items outstanding. Decision was reserved.
