Air Cadets. Use Live Ammunition
The Wangarei Town Unit of the Air Training Corps conducted a field day with live ammunition on the beach north of Waipu Cove during the weeKend.
The sandhill country lends itself admirably to field exercises, and the senior cadets advanced across open country. firing on human silhouette targets. After the rifle shooting, each cadet fired a magazine of Bren, and then watched a display of tracer shooting, out to sea, by the C.O. 'and the senior n.c.o.
