Three Escape From Waikuhe Prison

WELLINGTON, Mon. (P.A.)—Three men who escaped from Waikune prison at - the week-end were still at liberty this -morning. Two of them disappeared on Saturday afternoon.

They were Norman lan McEwen, 26, fair hair, blue eyes, height sft 9in, and Jack Pene, 24, quarter-caste Maori, dark hair and complexion, brown.eyes, height sft lOin. Both men are of strong- build and may be wearing prison clothes and new wi-iice crousers.

It is also possible that they are wearing sports trousers and grey sports coats.

The third man, who escaped yesterday, was Norman Rupert Cottle, 32, fresh complexion, brown hair, 'hazel eyes, thick nose, sft Bin in height, a scar above his left eye and others on his forehead and nose.
