Nash Is In Ottawa
OTTAWA, Fri. (10.30 a.m.) The New Zealand Minister of Finance (Mr Walter Nash) arrived here today and will meet Canadian Government officials to discuss double taxation, which has been affecting Canada-New Zealand commercial relations.
Mr Nash said: “I am meeting Mr Douglas Abbott (Finance Minister) and Mr C. D. Howe (Trade Minister) lo see what we can buy. “One of my aims is to discuss double taxation affecting Canada-New Zealand commercial relations—it has only had a nuisance value for some tirno past.” Mr Nash leaves for Washington tomorrow.
