Close Ties Between Britain And Turkey
LONDON, Fri. (10 a.m.)—The Turkish Foreign Minister (M. Sadak), who is in London on his way to the Marshall Plan conference, opening in Paris on March 15, had a talk today with Mr Ernest Bevin.
The Foreign Office stated: “The conversation provided the opportunity to reaffirm the close friendship between the two countries, which will continue to cooperate on the basis of the Anglo-Turkish Alliance of 1939 for the maintenance of good relations and world peace.”
