Volursf-ery Limit On Dividends
LONDON, Fri. (1.30 p.m.)—The President of the Federation of British Industries (Sir Frederick Bain) informed the Chancellor of the Exchequer (Sir Stafford Cripps) that the chairmen of 380 companies, with a total market value of over £2,000,000.000, have pro--mised not to lecommend shareholders to declare larger dividends next year o nthe same amount of capital than they declared for the past year.
