French Strike Spreads
PARIS, Fri. (10.30 a.m.) .—Strikes which began a few days ago in the nationalised mines of the Pas de Calais and the Nord Departments, now involve 30,000 miners.
The strikers say they are seeking “higher pay or lower prices.”
