FINE TYPE OF ULSTERMEN
BELFAST. Thu. (11 a.m.).—The Chief Selection Officer of New Zealand's Immigration Service (Mr C. J. Hay) said emigrants from Northern Ireland were head and shoulders above those from Britain in ability. The New Zealand Government was delighted with the standard of young Ulstermen and women who wished the emigrate. Mr Hay, with his assistants, Mr J. I. S. Rennie and Miss Rubina Cameron, is to spend a month in Ulster interviewing 600 applicants. More than 500 are likely to be accepted.
