Swimmers To Thank Mr Geo. Reid
An important event in the history of the Wiiangarci Amateur Swimming Club is to take place at the primary school baths on Tuesday evening.
The club is expressing its thanks to one of its founders and the most enthusiastic and energetic official it has ever had.
Ke is Mr George Reid, who retired from the presidency last year and who has been chief instructor to the club for some years.
The function is taking the form o'. a club night, with a full programme of events.
A presentation is to be made to Mr Reid on behalf of the club by the Mayor (Mr W. Jones).
