£1,000,000 looted In Gold Coast Riots
LONDON. Thu. (11 a.m.).—The Colonial Secretary (Mr Rees Williams) told tlxe House of Commons that goods worth about £1,000,000 were looted from commercial buildings in Accra, during the recent Gold Coast riots. A commission would soon be appointed to inquire into the cause of the rioting. \
