Compensation
WELLINGTON. Thu. (P.A.)—A Chinese widow in Kwanlung province, China, is to receive, after payment of costs, half of £1125 paid into the, Wellington Supreme Court in settlement of an action by her husband s executors for compensation in respect to the death, as the result of an accident, of her husband. Chung Hung, formerly a market gardener of Ctaki. The remaining half is to be held and applied by her in equal shares for the benefit of her three children. Mr Justice Gresson. in a reserved judgment to this effect, said the method of payment was tc be left to the executor's discretion, but he recommended that it be done through the Chinesq Consul-General in Wellington.
