Elderly Man Spent Night In Bush
KAITAIA, Thu. (Sp.). Missing from the home of relatives on a farm at Waiotehui, in the Kaitaia district, last night, an elderly Aucklander, was located this morning after spending all night in the open. He is Mr Thomas Reid Dunlop, aged 77, who is staying at the home of Mr and Mrs Thomas Lowe. Mr Dunlop went out last night on a tour of inspection of the farm and failed to return. A search was organised and police aid from Kaitaia was obtained this morning. FOUND THIS MORNING Mr Dunlop is believed to have been found shortly after 9 a.m. today and medical aid was being secured this morning, as he was suffering from exposure. The country is mainly rough scrub and fern with some heavy bush. Mr Dunlop was only lightly clad when he went out.
