WELLINGTON. — The New Zealand Golf Association has accepted an invitation from the Australian Golf Union to send a team to the Commonwealth this year. y & Mr G. 0. Sutton, secretary of the association, said that the New Zealand team would consist of four players and a player-manager. No itinerary had been completed, but the team would be back in time to compete in the national championships. The opinion that R. H. Galding, New Zealand open champion, was, at his best, capable of beating the Australian champion, O. Pickworth, was expressed in Melbourne last week by R. S. Brown, the young Victorian champion, who visited New Zealand last year.
