Further Suspected Pyrolysis Cases
AUCKLAND, Fri. (Sp.)—A 26-year-old woman from Papatoetoe was admitted to the Auckland Hospital yesterday afternoon as a supected case of infantile paralysis. There were 53 positive cases and three suspects in the hospital last night. Two further suspected cases, both children, were notified in the South Auckland health district yesterday. One was a boy, aged six, from Taupiri, and the other was a girl, also aged six, from Karapiro. The Waikato Hospital totals yesterday were 11 positive and three suspected cases. The Northern Wairoa Agricultural and Pastoral Association’s show, which was to have been held at Arapohue on February 21, has been abandoned.
