SYDNEY, Fri. (Sp.)— Challenging for the world championship title in 18footers at Auckland will cost the members of the Australian competitors, Top Dog, Australia IV., Crow’s Nest and Top Weight the sum of £2400. The New South Wales Sailing League will defray half the cost of the trip and the crews will find the rest.

The size of the crews carried by the Sydney fliers is shown by the information received by the secretary of the Auckland Provincial Yacht and Motorboat Squadron (Mr F. W. Orr). that there will be 34 men in the four crews.

The boats are the best of the Sydney fleet, with the champion Top Dog sailed by a crew of experts who have been successful in five races this sea-’ son.
