The history of the claims goes: back to 1880. , Maori owners, descendants and! representatives allege that they have suffered loss and damage by reason of various acts and omissions on the part of the Crown’s officers and servants in relation to the management and control of the Rotorua township block, and also claim that the purchase price paid by the Crown was inadequate. —(Sp.).
