Boys' Ride In Borrowed Plane
NEW YORK, Wed. (11.30 a.m.)— Thirteen-year-old Jimmy Hartzell and three companions returned to school today in Troy, Ohio, much chastened after leatherings for having "borrowed” Hartzell’s father’s plane for a twohour ride yesterday. The boys rolled the plane from its hangar on the Hartzell estate and took off, with Jimmy, who had never had a flying lesson, at the controls. Jimmy finally landed the plane in a field of maize, because he and the two passengers became airsick. Hartzell senior said later that the plane was, or almost was a foolproof type.
