Whangarei Borough Roll Now 7107
The total number of electors on the Whangarei borough roll is now 7107. Of this number 2110 are ratepayers. Last night the second supplementary roll —made necessary by the forthcoming loan polls on February 11 closed with the addition of 158 electors, including 56 ratepayers. Ratepayers only are eligible to vote on the loan proposals to raise £173,200 for various borough improvement works and an additional £19,500 to complete the stormwater drainage scheme. (
