Reinforcing Police Force At Dunedin
DUNEDIN, Wed. (P.A.)—Dunedin’s police force will be strengthened by officers from other centres for the centennial period, particularly for carnival week at the end of February, when more than 10,000 visitors are expected. The reinforcements are to be used mainly for, controlling crowds. Two mounted constables will also arrive for carnival week, with the particular assignment of helping to jontrol the big crowd expected on the .lay of the centennial Cavalcade of Progress procession.
