AUCKLAND: The body of the fnan found with a bullet wound in the head, in bush at Long Bay on Sunday has been identified. It is that of Mr Vincent Robert Sexton, aged 34, whsse mother resides in Gisborne. A revolver' was lying beside the body. -Discharged from the Army in Abgust, Mr Sexton _had. served in the Middle 1 Eajfc and Japan and had attained the rank of lieutenant. —(Sp.) SUSPENDED
LONDON.-* The Government has suspended two Foreign. Office officials employed *at the Passport Office while Scotland Yard men investigate a plot to smuggle aliens into Canada on faked British passports. Detectives discovered that many' aliens, mostly from the British and United States zones of Germany, passed through Britain into Canada with the aid of faked passports. • •■ » -
