Raids On Ships
MELBOURNE. Mon. (11 a.m.) —Customs officers who raided the Egyptian ship Misr seized 10.000 American cigarettes and dozens of indecent photographs printed in Italy. In another raid they confiscated a quantity of opium found in an oil tanker, berthed at Newport. Other raids proved abortive, because crews had been warned of the approach of the searching party.
