Offer Willie Jones World Title Fight
WELLINGTON. Mon. (P.A.)—The American negro boxer, Willie Jones, said today that his manager in America had cabled him offei'ing a bout for the world welterweight title against “Sugar” Ray Robinson.
Jones said his cut would be 171 per cent, as at present arranged, but he had asked his manager (Mr George White) to endeavour to secure better terms.
