Raiders Taken By Surprise
LONDON, Fri. (10 a.m.).—With armoured cars, Tempests and Spitfires in support. Indian infantry launched a surprise attack on a considerable force of raiders near the Pakistan border, 50 miles north-west of Jammu, says Reuters Jammu correspondent. The Indian force caught the raiders unawares in their camp and killed about 250.
