BERRIES
ROTORUA. —A boy who had eaten a quantity of small black berries was found unconscious in i a Rotorua street last night. He is 15-year-old Robert Hughes, of Gisborne, who is cycling with another boy through the Rotorua district.
They were on the way through town to the motor camp when Hughes, complaining of feeling ill, fell behind and was found unconscious by a passer-by a few minutes later. He was taken to hospital and his condition is now satisfactory. The berries are believed to have been tut.u or taraire.
