Two Ships Sinking

HONOLULU, Wed. (11 a.m.)—A Russian ship reported to be sinking off the coast of Japan is believed to be the m.s. Dvina. She is about 140 miles from Hakodate. A distress call was also picked up from a Japanese fishing boat, the Kaiyo Maru. This vessel reported that she was breaking up 200 miles east of Tokio and that the crew of 30 had taken to the lifeboats. The United States destroyer Henderson is racing to her aid.
