Sickness Among Atom Workers
LONDON, Wed. (10 a.m.}.— Startling disclosures about sickness and deaths among atomic research workers are said to have been made in a confidential report now being studied by the scientific committee of the Trade Union Council. Copies of the report will be sent to the Government, in support of a demand for a public inquiry. The report is based on evidence o, hundreds of atomic research workers, giving details of blood tests and other medical findings about general lassitude and skin diseases.
