Tourist's Complete 3“Ooy North Visit
Travelling' by a special bus a party of 18 tourists today completed a three-day tour of Northland. The itinerary included a stop at Whangarei, where the Kamo Springs and Wairua Falls were visited.
From Whangarei the bus travelled through Kirikopuni and Tangowahine to Dargaville. Yesterday the party visited Waipoua Forest and stopped at the giant kauri “Tane Mahuta.” A call was made at Kaihu to inspect the museum of curios housed there.
Today, the third day of the tour, was spent on the homeward trip, calling at Wellsford and Helensville and returning to Auckland via the Waitakere Scenic Drive.
