WELLINGTON, Tue. (P.A.) Because of complaints about petrol supplies for essential purposes, Federated Farmers invited the Government to indicate its policy regarding fuel • for agricultural production under the present quota system. The Minister of Supply (Mr Nordmeyer) replied that where a petrol reseller required additional petrol essential for farm work, the cases should be reported to the Transport Department district traffic officer, who would deal with the situation.
