AUCKLAND, Thu. (1 p.m.)—Thirtyfhree consignments of freight valued at £IO2O, also company stores valued at £24, were jettisoned from the aircraft New Zealand, according to informa-; tion here.
The company’s liability respecting freight and Daggage was adequately covered by insurance. The full value of the baggage dropped is unknown. The New Zealand left Sydney again for Auckland at 9.19 a.m. New Zealand time, and is expected to arrive at 5 p.m. today.
Two other flyingboats. the Auckland and Tasman, are also making eastbound flights today. To bring the schedule back to normal. one flyingboat will leave for Sydney tomorrow and return on Saturday. Two will leave on Saturday and return on Sunday.
There will be one departure for Sydney on Sunday morning. (SEE PAGE 7.)
