WELLINGTON, Wed. (P.A.) Because the six newly-elected members of the Petone and Lower Hutt Gas Board reached a deadlock, the seventh member will have to be chosen by the Governor-General-in-Council.
There are three Citizens and three Labour member* on the board and the ballot for the seventh member resulted in three votes for each of the two nominees.
