F.F. Plans For Aid To Britain
- In furtherance of Federated Farmers’ programme to assist in the Aid to Britain campaign, three additional local committees have been set up in Northland for the purpose of organising local efforts among primary producers. At a meeting of the Whangarei branch a month ago, a decision to assist with the campaign by setting up local committees was made, following a circular received from the organisation's Dominion headquarters.
Sirice that date several local committees have come into being, the three latest being at Poroti, Waikiekie and Mangakahia. f The committees comprise: Poroti, Messrs S. E. Draffin. R. D. Robinson, J. H. Tucker, R. V. T. Brewer and H. Jamieson; Waikiekie, Messrs J. T. Stephen, J. A. Hunting, G. K. Babe and G. E. Gunson; Mangakahia, Messrs A. Christie, W. Wilson and G. H. Millington.
