Farm Wages Question Referred To Minister
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Until an order had been gazetted, farmers should not make any retrospective adjustments in wages for farm workers, said the Dominion president of Federated Farmers (Mr W. N. Perry) yesterday. He stated the question of retrospective payments and of wages rates under the new dairy price, had been referred by the Dairy Products Marketing’Commission to the Minister of Labour (Mr McLagan). , It was hoped to arrange an early •meeting of the parties concerned in these questions.
