Secret. Expedition To Antarctic
(Rec. 11 .0 a.m.) NEW YORK, Sept. 7. The United States Navy will send another expedition to the Antarctic during the Antipodean summer, but without the fanfare accompanying the last project,'says the World Telegram's Washington correspondent. Reporters will not be invited and all news will bo handled by naval officers.
Among the objectives are to learn more about stretches of open v'ater in the icefields seen from the air along the Ross Sea coastline' and to fill in gaps in aerial mapping.
