Workers Will Support All Aid To Britain
(RA.) WELLINGTON. This Day. Supporting the campaign to aid Britain in her economic difficulties, the secretary of the Wellington branch of the New Zealand Harbour Board Employees’ Union (Mr W. H. Sadd) said today that he was satisfied all members of the union would stand behind efforts to that end. He believed that voluntary efforts by workers would succeed and he saw no necessity for establishing an industrial emergency council, as existing legislation provided for all contingencies.
