Italians Are Restive
(Rec. 10 a.m.) ROME, September 5. Demonstrations against high living costs and low wages continue to spread. Twenty thousand textile workers struck at Prato and thousands ot dock workers ceased work at La Spexia, paralysing port activity. Bus and trolley-car conductors struck in Naples. Police at Carrara were called out to quell the crowd which threatened to sack the local prefecture. They arrested about twenty.
