Woman Qualifies For Pilot's Licence
(P.A.) BLENHEIM. This Day
Miss Stella Wallace, of Blenheim, qualified for a pilot’s licence in tests conducted today by the Civil Aviation Branch of the Air Department.
Miss Wallace is the first -woman pilot trained by the Marlborough Aero Club for 16 years. She has done the bulk of her training in the past two months under the club’s pilot instructor. Mr R. B. Hamilton.
